Historic route: Part of US 66
This is the longest remaining drivable section of US 66 in the US. It was initially signed with a marker as shown above, but most of these have been replaced with HISTORIC US 66 markers.
The green guide signs use the standard black-on-white Arizona shields.
Technically, the portion in Yavapai County is not a state highway. ADOT doesn't like numbered routes that serve the same two points (Ash Fork and Kingman in this case).
